Life is busy. Today is our ninth anniversary, and we've seen each other for all of 30 minutes. I had a work party this afternoon, P. had choir practice, and S. had rehearsal. I'm catching a breather right now, when I should be finishing an order to mail out tomorrow, but that's not going to happen. I'm feeling the need to slow down so I backed out of the craft fair I was going to do this weekend. Instead, I think P. and I will bake some cookies and go see Santa. Maybe we'll do the PetSmart Santa and take the dogs. Nah, a 3 year old and 2 dogs--not sounding fun.

School is good this year, just a little harrowing b/c I'm the new person. I fit in well, but I'm still new. It's just so much more relaxing than the last four years. Man, LHS was STRESSFUL. Now, I can teach and enjoy it again. That's what I got into it for. English is my passion, and this way, I can share that love with teens who will hopefully appreciate it, even if they don't love it like I do.
